What SyncLens collects, why, how long it is kept, and your choices.
Last updated 2026-09-03
What we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password hash, and plan.
- Media you upload for analysis.
- Reports derived from that media.
- Usage records: minutes analysed and timestamps, used for billing.
- Technical logs: IP address and request metadata, used for security and debugging.
Why we collect it
To run the analysis you ask for, to show you your history, to bill for usage, to secure the service, and to meet legal obligations.
How long we keep it
Raw uploaded media is deleted automatically after seven days on the Free plan, and within the window your paid plan sets. Derived reports are kept for your plan retention window. Account data is kept until you delete your account. The full schedule is in the Retention Policy.
Where it is processed
We use the following processors, each handling data only to provide its part of the service:
- Supabase: database and authentication.
- Cloudflare R2: media and report storage.
- Modal: GPU analysis.
- Paddle: payments and invoicing.
- Sentry: error monitoring.
Security
Media and reports are encrypted at rest. Access to production data is limited to staff who need it. The key that can bypass access controls is held only by the analysis worker, never by the browser.
Your rights
You can export your data and delete your account from your settings. Deleting your account removes your reports and account data and triggers deletion of stored media. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights to access or correct your data; contact us to use them.

We will post changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be notified through the service.
